Director of Education & Engagement
Ben is the Director of Education and Engagement for IMA Retirement in our Denver office. In his role, Ben works to develop strategies and resources to communicate the importance of financial well-being to plan participants and why they should earmark some of their hard-earned dollars towards retirement. Ben additionally works alongside our retirement plan clients to assist them with all client support needs ranging from plan design, fiduciary investment review reporting, fee benchmarking and provider oversight, plan administration, and fiduciary governance.
Prior to joining IMA Retirement, Ben served as a Qualified Plan Advisor with Boston Wealth Management. Ben worked directly with company executives on implementing plan design suitable to their company needs and with plan participants in helping them achieve their retirement goals. Ben additionally worked through complex financial planning scenarios with individuals and families to help them in both the accumulation, and distribution stages of their financial lifecycles. After 4 years of playing soccer with the Brandeis University Men’s Soccer Team. Ben graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation through NAPA (National Association of Plan Advisors) in 2019. He also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation through the Center for Fiduciary Studies in 2023, and received a Certificate in Financial Planning through Boston University in 2022. Ben holds the state registration Series 65.
In his free time, so long as there is snow on the ground, you will find Ben skiing out in the Rocky Mountains. Absent of snow, he has made the mistake of taking up golf as a serious hobby, so you will find him hacking up a golf course somewhere in the Denver area.
